Business Classes
Wherever you’re at in business, there’s always learning to be done.
Business knowledge and skills don’t just magically come to you. You either learn from others or you learn through trial and error on your own. I went through the latter myself and don’t recommend it. It’s slow and stressful. Let me take some of that burden off of you and show you the ins and outs of how to start, run, and grow a successful massage practice in a clear and efficient way.
There’s a lot of moving parts involved in running a business, and trying to tackle too much at once can be overwhelming and leave you even more stressed. A bunch of random info isn’t going to help you either. That’s why each class is a hyper-focused, step-by-step walkthrough of a very specific topic.
No fluff
No hidden content
Just actionable knowledge and skills you can start using now
Identify Your
Ideal Client
2 hours
Approx. 1 hour of video
Approx. 1 hour of brainstorming/research

Develop an in-depth ideal client profile so you can design every part of your business around this type of person.
Your business has to be built, not only around your needs and wants, but also those of the people you serve. Your marketing, your branding, every word you say, every service you offer, every color, scent, texture, photo, everything will be entirely centered on these people. So we have to figure out exactly who those people are, right?
A quick but super detailed class that will help you sort out exactly who your ideal clients are and if they’re really in your area, so you can start putting together the brand, the business, and the marketing strategies that actually work.

How to Set & Increase Your Prices
1 hour
Approx. 30 minutes of video
Approx. 30 minutes of brainstorming/calculating

Your service prices should be set and raised based on a number of factors, the least of which is what other therapists are charging. And yet that’s what so many business owners solely set their prices around.
I can’t tell you to charge a specific amount based on nothing…but what I can do is walk you through exactly how to price your services based on your specific situation. Your expenses, your ideal client type, your client experience, unique selling point, necessary personal income, how many clients you can handle…these and so much more all have to be factored in.
And the same goes for any price increases. Raising your rates an arbitrary amount may not have the impact you hope.
So let’s jump in and get serious about understanding these numbers and what you actually need to charge to get the results you want.

Develop Your
Marketing Strategy
3 hours
Approx. 2 hours of video
Approx. 1 hour of brainstorming/research/planning

“How do I get clients” is probably the #1 question asked by business owners. But it’s not the right question because you’ll usually only get random answers of advertising attempts. There’s a lot more to marketing than trying some random posts on Facebook or Instagram, sending sporadic emails with questionable content, or jumping at any and every chair massage event.
Marketing isn’t these one-off things, like throwing spaghetti at a wall just hoping something will stick. Marketing is an in-depth strategy and plan of action. But it’s not nearly as complex as some people try to make it either.
So let’s look at the real core of what makes a marketing strategy and piece together an actual plan of action for you and your business so you can start getting clients in the door, keep them coming back again and again, and grow your business with ease.

Develop the Mindset of a Successful Business Owner
2 1/2 hours
Approx. 1 hour 15 minutes of video
Approx. 1 hour 15 minutes of brainstorming

This isn’t the overdone mindset work in the sense of positive mantras, manifesting, and look at how great you are type stuff. I mean, if that helps you that’s great, go find that, but that’s not what this is.
In this class we’re going to be digging deep into who you are, how you think, what your strengths and weakness are, where your locus of control lies, developing self-discipline, and a whole lot more. Because that’s how you’re going to determine how you run your business, what your goals are, what your business even looks like, how to structure things, and what your day-to-day job is actually going to be.
This isn’t just about thinking positive or feeling successful or manifesting what you want. I’m far too pragmatic for that stuff. You’re getting the logistical breakdown of what to do and how to do it. And if you’ve been flying by the seat of your pants, or not making the best decisions, or having some not-so-great habits hold you back so far, this is where we evaluate so you can change those things to do better and actually start taking real control of your business.

Know Your Numbers
1 hour
Approx. 45 minutes of video
Approx. 15 minutes of working your own numbers

If you don’t know your numbers, you don’t know your business. And hiding from those numbers, ignoring things, wishing them away; it doesn’t work.
You got into massage to help people and provide an awesome service, and bookkeeping, accounting, and operational management…probably not in the plans. I get that. So allow me to break this down for you in a way that’s digestible and easily understandable even if you’re not a “numbers person”. Because there are lot of parts to knowing your numbers, but we also don’t want or need to overcomplicate this.
Let’s look at what you really need to track, how and what to calculate, and what the heck all those numbers mean for you and your business decisions. Because part of knowing your numbers is knowing how they translate into the actions you need to take going forward.

Develop Your Brand
4 hours
Approx. 2 hours of video
Approx. 2 hours of brainstorming/designing

When most business owners think of the word “brand”, they have a very particular thing in mind. And it’s usually wrong.
You see a brand isn’t just a logo and pretty colors. True branding is so much more than that. It is the personality and theme of your business. It is what instills a certain feeling in your clients. It is the relationship between your business and your audience. It is how you speak to them and how you resonate with the perfect client for you.
It is not a logo.
It is not a tagline.
It is not a color scheme.
It is not a pattern.
Those are all components that can help support a business’ brand. They are visual representations of a piece of the brand, but they are not what makes a brand. Think of it like a book. If you were writing a book, would you start with the illustrations or the story? You’d start with the story. The illustrations come once the story is there because their entire purpose is to give visual representation to the story.
In this class, you’ll be developing your brand identity first and then the brand visuals that will support that identity. Because these are two very distinct pieces to the big picture of your business’ brand.
